SIREHNA proposes design and optimisation services based on numerical simulation. The point of these services is to suggest solutions that improve the hydrodynamics of naval platforms.

The first branch of this activity is to design properly all kinds of propellers (conventional, ducted, contra-rotative propellers…), taking into account all design constraints.

Qualified and industrialized methods are used to predict the performances of various marine systems, such as ships, submarines, propellers, tidal turbines. SIREHNA also prepares and validates new methods and tools to answer more complex problems.

OPTIMIZED DESIGN

For more than 30 years, SIREHNA has been involved in the optimisation of hydrodynamic design. Whether tidal turbines, ships or even submarines, SIREHNA's engineering teams are able to optimise the geometry of all types of systems.

SIREHNA knowledge and expertise in ship seakeeping also allows our engineers to design passive anti-roll tanks (U-shaped or with a free surface). Several ships are already fitted with such anti-roll tanks designed by SIREHNA.
