CYBER SECURITY & DYNAMIC POSITIONING: DP2 CYBER CERTIFICATION

As part of this ongoing commitment, SIREHNA has renewed its DYNAPOS AM/AT-R certificate for another 5 years and has reached a new milestone by achieving compliance certification with IACS UR E27, the new cybersecurity requirement applicable since July 1st, 2024.

This regulatory evolution represents a significant turning point for the maritime industry. IACS UR E27 introduces new requirements designed to strengthen the cybersecurity of connected onboard systems and applies notably to passenger vessels as well as ships over 500 GT operating internationally or in offshore environments.

In a rapidly evolving maritime environment, where safety, connectivity, and operational resilience requirements are becoming increasingly critical, SIREHNA continues to enhance its Dynamic Positioning (DP) solutions to support both civilian and military operators in addressing new regulatory and technological challenges.

FIRST COMPLETE SOLUTION MADE IN FRANCE

By anticipating these new challenges, SIREHNA becomes the first certified Dynamic Positioning system provider to offer DP0, DP1, and DP2 solutions compliant with IACS UR E27 cybersecurity requirements as well as Bureau Veritas standards.

This certification is a natural continuation of the expertise developed by SIREHNA in the naval defence sector, where cybersecurity risk management, system robustness, and resilient architectures have long been fundamental requirements.

The software and hardware design benefits from SIREHNA's work in the world of naval defence, which ensures the most advanced level of security in line with the new regulations resulting from the work of the IACS applicable to new ships from July 2024 and which must be complied with by shipowners and maritime class and certification companies (UR26 and UR27) - Cyber resilience & integrity.
