Compact, robust and mission-ready, the SIREHNA USV 420 demonstrates how unmanned surface vehicles can deliver operational capabilities in a highly deployable format.
Our latest demonstration video, taken during the 2026 trade show NAVEXPO in Lorient, showcases the USV 420 operating in realistic maritime conditions, highlighting its agility, stability and ease of deployment from both shore and motherships.
Powered by SIRSEA®, SIREHNA’s proven remote-control and autonomous navigation system, the USV 420 can be remotely operated or execute autonomous missions while maintaining a high level of safety, reliability and cyber-secure communications. Designed to extend operators’ reach without exposing crews to unnecessary risks, it provides an efficient solution for demanding maritime operations.
Its compact 4.20m platform combines rapid deployment with operational versatility, making it ideally suited for a wide range of defence and civil missions, including:
-
-
Maritime surveillance & reconnaissance
-
Training & experimentation
-
Payload integration and specific applications
-
The USV 420 benefits from SIREHNA’s extensive expertise in autonomous navigation and unmanned maritime systems, delivering a reliable, field-proven solution that is already supporting operational users.
Capable of reaching 30 knots without a crew on board and controllable remotely (including via satellite link), the USV 420 is designed to meet the demands of today’s maritime environments.
With more than 10 units already delivered, it is no longer just a concept but a proven, reliable, and operational solution for both civilian and defense missions..
This 3D Tender XPRO Aluminum 420, developed based on the XPRO Alu 415, features a reinforced transom that allows it to accommodate an engine of up to 60 cv—a particularly high power output for this category.
Its console, meanwhile, has been specially designed to accommodate all the equipment necessary for autonomous operation.
Equipped with a Suzuki DF60 engine, it can reach speeds of up to 30 knots with no one on board. It handles exceptionally well, even in challenging marine conditions.
